REGISTRATION OF AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS

On-line Registration of Australians Overseas

A Register of Australian Citizen Abroad is maintained by the Australian Consulate-General, Guangzhou, solely for the use in relation to consular activites, for example, to facilitate contact in an emergency, The information contained in the Register is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 and can only be divulged under the provision of that Act. We encourage all Australian citizens living in Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian and Hainan for more than three (3) months to register with the Australian Consulate-General, Guangzhou. You are able to do this on this site by going to the link above or by completing a registration form in hard copy. The form can be obtained by fax, mail or e-mail. You can then complete the hard copy of the Australian Citizens Registration Form, and then post or fax the form to the Australian Consulate-General Guangzhou.

Registration forms are also available at the Consulate-General. If you reside in Guangdong, Guangxi Autonomous Region, Hunan, Fujian, Yunnan and Hainan, please send or fax to the address below:

Where to Register for Different Regions:

* If you reside in Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Yunnan or Hainan provinces, please register with the Australian Consulate-General, Guangzhou.


* If you reside in these provinces: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Shanghai, please register with the Australian Consulate-General, Shanghai.


* For the remainder of China please register with the Australian Embassy, Beijing

Once you have registered your presence, you should notify any changes of your details at the earliest possible time.
