Study Opportunities in Australia on Show
In March 2008, 30 Australian education providers from all over Australia, including some of Australia’s finest universities, vocational colleges, English language colleges and secondary schools, will participate in the Guangzhou leg of the 13th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) Spring Exhibition.
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) and Australian Education International (AEI) have joined forces to coordinate an Australian National Pavilion for the CIEET 2008 Spring Exhibition. This Education Exhibition Tour, which will visit Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, will give the many Chinese students who wish to study abroad the opportunity to look at the extensive range of attractive study options available in Australia.
The Guangzhou leg of the tour will be held at the 1/F International Exhibition Centre Dong Fang Hotel from 13:00 – 18:00 on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March 2008. Representatives of Australian education providers will be on hand at the exhibition to discuss options and the benefits of an Australian education with prospective students.
Australia is a most favourite destination for students from all over the world seeking a high-quality overseas study experience. Australia is recognized internationally for its high quality, innovative study options. China is now one of the largest sources of overseas students in Australia. There are approximately 80,000 Chinese students studying in Australia.
A series of information seminars will be held during the exhibition covering topics of course structures, tuition fees, study environment, accommodation, graduate employment opportunities, and visa issues. There will be an opportunity for question and answer sessions after each presentation.
Supporting the Australian Pavilion with advice to prospective students on managing fee transfers and other financial matters will be the National Australia Bank. Since 1858, with more than 24,500 employees NAB’s Australia-wide network services customers through more than 790 branches, 150 business banking centres, 110 regional agribusiness locations and three major contact centres.
Continuing their long support to the Australian Education Exhibition and Australian educational institutions, Australia’s largest professional accounting body, CPA Australia will also be at the show to provide advice on selection of CPA Australia accredited programs and member admission policy to those students interested in studying finance and accounting in Australia.
